2020 and Beyond - Pluto in Capricorn

It feels to me as if a lifetime of experiences have been felt since we first had expectations of the changes coming in the cosmos which will inevitably be reflected on earth and in our own existences.

2020 was a huge year from an astronomical and astrological perspective, when Pluto did conjunct Saturn in Capricorn – an event which has not happened for over 500 years, and at 22 degrees which is a master number.

Pluto and Saturn conjunctions typically bring radical transformation (Pluto) to anything Saturn (structure, systems, governments). The conjunctions occur around once every 35 years give or take a few, but combine this with the 12 zodiacal cosmic regions, this will not happen in any one sign for around 400-500 years. Depending on the energetic nature of the venue of conjunction, it may affect a different quality of our collective lives. The conjunction of 2020 happened in Capricorn which is the natural 10th house of Saturn, giving more emphasis to the areas in degeneration and transformation – patriarchy, law, structure, control, government. You see the picture….. The 10th house is sometimes dubbed “The House of World Leaders” – say no more 😊

Pluto is about to move into Aquarius. Aquarius rules the 11th house, the house of friendships, ideals, teamsmanship, equality, humanity, innovataion. It has largely done its work in the 2020 conjunction with Saturn. It will bring its power into Aquarius on March 23 after 225 years, where it will elevate those particular correspondences. There is some retrograde movements backwards and forewards through Capricorn for the final destruction and transformation of the old ways before finally beginning the transit through Aquarius in January 2024 until 2044.

Who couldn’t be excited about the prospect of ditching the old order of control-from-the-top-down in society, contemplating a whole new world of co-operation and empathy, a different type of curriculum to teach our children, and a warm bed and food for all, the end to corruption and our taxes going to the benefit of common good rather than the elite few? If taxes exist at all n the way we now know them to be…..

The last few years have been very, very difficult for all of us in one way or another. We have lived almost as slaves to the aristocracy and corporatocracy for hundreds of years and can barely imagine a different way of life. I believe we are about to see the birth of this new way of living over the next few hundred years, which may be heralded all the quicker by our own envisioning of how we would like it to be!
